The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly app that lets you choose the exact kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You can, for example request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning in the app will reveal precisely what the robot has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that displays the need for maintenance like emptying the debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent into the water tank automatically with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can run for 136 minutes in standard mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive and lets you look at every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot mop and vacuum. Unlike last year's model it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could miss.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining whether they are walls or other surfaces. It can then change its path automatically and clean the objects without stumbling.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek angular design is striking, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home-button that can send the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is a pity considering how well it performs otherwise.

It can be controlled using the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It does have several characteristics that make it stand out. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub that utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is a fantastic feature since it prevents the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in the storage area, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a system we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a great method of keeping your home clean for longer.
There's a wealth of settings on offer which include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. The app lets you make these settings or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers many options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many functions that other robots don't include, for instance, the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of relying on an individual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on the market, with metallic and white colors that looks elegant and classy. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
